Winklewisp is a classic garden gnome reproduced from what is believed to be a one of a kind gnome figurine that was discovered in the attic of a 300 year old cottage.
Originally he was a very tiny miniature, but Kimmel's reproduction of this vintage garden statue shows Winklewisp as an 11 1/2 inch tall garden gnome with remarkable handfinished details. His beard is something to behold! The muted colors of his traditional peasant attire and red pointy cap are hard fired into the stoneware pottery and will not fade or wear off. Because he is finished with an "All Weather" glaze he can withstand any climate. Winklewisp is not for the casual collector seeking a modern version Travelocity style gnome, but represents the classic design of the 1800's. Winklewisp is the gnome lovers gnome for the true traditionalist. You and your family will love this vintage English gnome statue made by Kimmel.
